Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Purpose of this policy

This policy describes the categories of information used to operate Law of Apptraction. It should be read with the Terms of Service. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@lawofapptraction.com.

2. Information used by the service

  • Account information: name, email address, password hash, authentication method, and an optional phone number only where a supported flow lets you provide one.
  • Reflection content: conversations with Alma, journal entries, reflection check-ins, and next steps that you choose to save.
  • Billing information: Apple processes App Store in-app purchase payments and Stripe processes website payments. The service keeps only limited customer, subscription, transaction, and status identifiers needed to provide Premium access; it does not store full card numbers.
  • Technical and measurement information: limited browser, page, and service-operation context used for reliability, fraud prevention, aggregate product improvement, and configured campaign measurement.
  • Notifications: an iOS push-notification device token only after you choose to enable an in-app alert.
  • Communications: support messages and email-subscription preferences when you contact us or opt in.

3. How information is used and processed

We use information to authenticate accounts, display saved content, generate Alma responses, process subscriptions, send requested or opted-in communications, maintain service security, and understand aggregate product use. Conversation content may be processed by service providers that help deliver the AI experience. Do not enter information you do not want processed to provide the service.

4. Service providers and sharing

The service may use providers for hosting, authentication, AI inference, payments, email delivery, error handling, and measurement. Google or Apple account information is received only when you choose that sign-in method. Stripe provides payment and subscription status. We do not sell personal information for third-party marketing.

5. Measurement and marketing

When campaign measurement is enabled, the app may send non-identifying funnel event names such as a guest message, account start, account completion, or reflection completion. These events must not contain chat text, journal entries, email addresses, account IDs, or payment details. Browser controls and provider settings may affect measurement.

6. Retention and deletion

Account and saved reflection information are retained while needed to provide the service, subject to operational, security, legal, and provider recordkeeping needs. You can delete your account from within the app. Deleting an account removes the account data held in the application database and attempts to cancel an associated website subscription; payment-provider records may be retained by Apple or Stripe under their own obligations. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel an App Store subscription in Apple Account subscription settings. Contact support if you need help with an access, correction, or deletion request.

7. Security and choices

We use reasonable measures intended to protect the service, but no online system can guarantee complete security. You can choose not to create an account, opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link, manage a Premium subscription through the available billing flow, and delete your account from the app.

8. Children and changes

Law of Apptraction is not intended for children under 13. We may update this policy as the product or its providers change; the current version and update date will be posted on this page.
